The Worship Street Whistling Shop is a Victorian inspired cocktail bar on Worship Street – an ancient London thoroughfare between Shoreditch and the City of London.
The bar opened in 2011 to great critical acclaim, winning Time Out London’s Best New Bar award in 2011 and featuring on the World’s 50 Best Bars list for three consecutive years.
Whistling Shop specialises in good service, with delicious cocktails inspired by the past and executed with a proficiency in cutting-edge culinary techniques.
We’re more than a little excited to reveal our latest menu, which launched in April 2018. Featuring just 12 cocktails, the twist here is that all of the drinks are available in either traditional or alcohol-free versions. This approach has come about in reflection of the rising demand for low and no-alcohol drink options. Our alcohol-free cocktails don’t just forfeit the booze either, in fact we’ve gone to great lengths to simulate the taste and texture of alcohol, developing new products in our in-house lab.
We also make classic cocktails, serve draught beer, and offer an extensive range of wine and spirits; specialising in gin, whisky, and vintage liquors.
Great drinks are better when there’s great food to go with it and we’ve got that covered too.
This Just in…
We’re pleased to announce the launch of our gin masterclass series. We’ve been promoting the virtues of gin since before it was cool to do so, and our masterclasses play off our experience with the category (as well as the 80+ gins that we stock). Expect to find history, anecdotes, production details, and gin cocktails.
The experience is bookable for 2 – 12 persons and can be done through our standard bookings system (select “Masterclass”) or by sending us an email.
